Positive AffirmationsPositive Affirmations, like the ones I share here, are a language tool that in anxiety coaching we use to interupt patterns of worry and negative thinking by shifting your mindset with positive language statements.
How Do Affirmations Work for Anxiety Relief? If we break it down into simple terms, the thoughts we think (whether positive or negative) can be changed. Thoughts are not set in stone. If worry and fear-based thinking are what got you into this anxiety alarm, then you also have the power to choose new thoughts! By integrating affirmations into your daily routine (with consistency!) you can create new thought and habit change that shifts your mind from a negative or lack state to a more positive and empowered state of mind. |
Guided MeditationsMeditation is amazing for women with anxiety as not only does it help with relaxation and stress reduction, it also helps train the mind to become aware of our thoughts, be able to pause and choose whether to action or not action on those thoughts (be mindful).
How Does Meditation Work for Anxiety Relief? Anxiety often comes from our overthinking and all that catastrophe planning we do about future events. Meditation gives us a chance to press pause on those trains of thought, to reconnect to our breath and body, and most importantly tune into the present moment. It's also a super beneficial way to help clear the "internet browser" of our mind, which gets overwhelmed with the 60-80,000 thoughts we have every day! |

On my journey to anxiety relief I found the practice of gratitude and affirmation writing every morning to be like a secret weapon against my anxiety. It was like a friendly reminder that "I can do hard things" and even on dark days can be my own cheerleader. You see, if anxiety's root cause can be the fear and worry thoughts in our mind, then in order to relieve it we need learn how to focus on different thoughts. Putting pen to paper writing down the good you have in your life and filling your mind with positive affirmations helps to shift negative thoughts to self-belief and compassion! |

For years, I struggled with burnout, self-doubt, and perfectionism during my 15-year corporate career. Despite outward success, I constantly felt like I wasn’t enough. Leaving the corporate world to start a new career and my own businesses didn’t solve the problem; I carried the same fear-of-failure mindset, leading to yet another cycle of burnout.
It wasn’t until I reached my breaking point that I realized the real issue wasn’t external to me. My mindset and self-belief system needed a reset.
