Understanding the Power of Your MindIf you're a woman seeking a natural way to relieve anxiety and cultivate a positive mindset, you've come to the right place.
My style of Mindset Coaching is tailored to help you navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace, promoting holistic well-being and a sense of inner calm. Having personally lived with anxiety, we often feel we don't have control over the stress and anxiety in our life. We spend most of our daily life just surviving. But, there are simple tools you can learn and natural techniques you apply to take your power back from anxiety! I'm sharing here a range of resouces to help you thrive again. |
How do Affirmations Work for Anxiety Relief?Anxiety is essentially our body's alarm system. This alarm goes off like a smoke detector anytime it senses danger. Perhaps you are thinking about the work day ahead, or all that deadline you have to make this week, or a health appointment scheduled for 3 months away... and all of a sudden you are filled with dread and ANXIETY.
You see, the body doesn't understand whether the danger it has sensed from what you are worrying about is a IRL (real life) danger, or a perceived danger. Either way it senses fear and decided to raise the alarm. The good news is - thoughts are just thoughts! And worry thoughts got you into this state of alarm, then you can learn how to reset the your alarm systems programming. Positive Affirmations, like the once I share here, are a positive language tool that we use to reprogram the mind's thoughts. Shifting from a negative or lack state to a positive and empowered state of mind. By integrating affirmations into your daily routine (with consistency!) you can create thought and habit change. |
How does Meditation work for Anxiety Relief?Meditation is a super beneficial way to help clear the "internet browser" of our mind. It gets clogged and overwhelmed with the 80,000 thoughts we have every day.
Anxiety often comes from our overthinking, jumbled racing thoughts, and all that catastrophe planning we do. Meditation gives us a change to press pause, reconnect to our breath and body, and most importantly tune into the present moment. Meditation is amazing for women with anxiety as it helps train the mind to become aware of the thoughts (be mindful), allowing us to learn to create a space or breath between hearing a thought (like worry or fear) and actioning it. It's also incredible for relaxation from stress! |
Why Journalling is helpful for Anxiety ReliefThe practice of affirmation and gratitude journaling is like a secret weapon against anxiety. If anxiety's root cause is fear and worry, then in order to relieve anxiety we need to focus the mind on the positives in your life, rather than the negatives.
Mindful journalling is all about putting pen to paper writing down the good you have in your life, and filling your mind with positive statements that help to shift your fear and worry mindset to one of self-belief and compassion. When you do this regularly, you start rewiring your mindset and those anxious thoughts get replaced by more uplifting ones. It's like a friendly chat with yourself, you become your own cheerleader. And the best part? It doesn't just work as anxiety relief in the moment – it actually helps you build a more positive outlook on life. Reducing stress and bringing kinder thoughts every day. |
Anxiety isn't the enemy - it's like a smoke alarm sensing danger that requires a reset with new batteries
